The ebauche : part 1 of 5 : striking the arabesque and facial matrix. 4K
The ebauche (technically the initial, or dead, coloring-in) is the constructive armature of the painting. If the structure is wrong no amount of overpainting will save the work.
In Part 1 you begin with the imprimaturi and, once dried, proceed with striking the arabesque and facial matrix.
